Several members and friends of East Bay Rose Society joined the family and neighbors of Thomas and Erika Bolden in their newly planted garden for a barbecue/potluck luncheon.
Thomas and his sons planted rose bushes along their side fence in a gently curving arrangement of beds.
This was the holding area for over a year as the wild back yard was weeded, tilled, fertilized and a watering system was installed for future rose beds. There are still some potted “victims” to be planted.

Rosa and her family stopped by to join the fun. The children all play sports together. Rosa brought “killer” homemade enchiladas!
