2020 Virtual Rose Show #2

The second Virtual Rose Show was held in June 2020. Our members entered photographs of their rose entries – properly staged in vases or bowls – and following the rules and regulations and descriptions of the Class in the requirements.

Class 1: One stem of a Hybrid Tea or Grandiflora rose – staged in a clear vase with clear water. May be one bloom or one spray. Rose must be properly named.

Class 2: One stem of a Miniature, Miniflora or Polyantha rose – staged in a clear vase with clear water. May be one bloom or one spray. Rose must be properly named.

Class 3: One stem of a Floribunda, Climber, Shrub or Old Garden Rose – staged in a clear vase with clear water. May be one bloom or one spray. Rose must be properly named.

Class 4: Rose in a Bowl. One bloom, floating in a clear bowl of clear water. Size of bowl must complement the rose. Bloom must float. No foliage.

Class 5: My Rose and a Friend. This is a pet-themed entry – the pet does not have to be real.

Class 6: The Teacup. Mini, Miniflora, Polyantha roses – same classification or mixed. Teacup may or may not have a saucer.

‘Cafe Ole’ and ‘Coffee Bean’

Class 7: Stages of Bloom. Three stems – an opening bud with sepals down, an open bloom showing fresh stamens, a bloom at exhibition stage for its classification.

Class 8: My Garden. A portion of your garden showing your lovely roses in bloom.
