ABOUT MEMBERSHIP
Come and join the fun! We talk Roses !!!!

Membership in the East Bay Rose Society gives you access to our lending library, advice from American Rose Society-sanctioned Consulting Rosarians, a subscription to our newsletter The Florosia, monthly programs devoted to all phases of growing and enjoying roses, interesting speakers and "open" gardens.

Our membership ranges from novices to experienced growers and breeders. Membership dues are as follows: 

Seniors: $20.00           Individuals: $25.00           Families: $30.00

Please join us at one of our meetings! You can visit the EBRS without having any obligation to join. We meet on the third Wednesday evening of each month, at 7:30 PM in the Lakeside Park Garden Center in Oakland, CA. We present interesting programs on:

pruning
planting
landscaping with roses
rose diseases
spraying
fertilizers
organic methods
rose arrangements
soil preparation
grooming tips
exhibiting tips
rose culture
methods of propagation
watering techniques
easy roses to grow
rose pests
rose gardens here and there
and much, much more

GOOD ROSES FOR THE EAST BAY
Our climate is Mediterranean, and our soil is mostly heavy clay. Here's a list of roses that have proven to be good for our area and a list of disease-resistant roses you might try.
